Description: Acacia Farnesiana flowers mainly from November to March and the perfume extracted from the flowers is in a form of pomade. Absolute is prepared by mixing pomade with alcohol and allowed to stand for 3-4 weeks at about -5°C. The alcohol is then separated and distilled over. The extract obtained is dark yellow viscous liquid with strong odour of Cassia Flowers
Common Uses: Well known to the perfume industry. Cassia Absolute is used in numerous perfumes in a way similar to mimosa, for its sweet, honey notes. In aromatherapy it is considered to be soothing and is also knows as a Aphrodisiac.

Aromatic Scent: Fresh sweet, reminiscent of Violet Leaf with hints of powdery balsam. Undertones very tenacious
History: The name 'farnesia' comes from the Farnese Gardens in Rome.
