Absolute Oils

Absolute oils are highly concentrated extracts derived from plants or flowers. They're a combination of natural oils and pure plant essence, intensely rich in both plant constituents and fragrance.

They are made by extracting the plant material with organic solvents which are then distilled off to leave a thick paste known as a concrete. The waxes that make the concrete so viscous are then removed, leaving the absolute.

Absolute oils are used in aromatherapy and perfumery to give fragrance to the products. They can also be diffused in an oil burner or applied diluted to the skin. Absolute oils can treat many physical and mental symptoms.
