Description: Labdanum Absolute is made by extracting crude labdanum gum which in turn is derived from the boiling of leaves and twigs of Cistus ladanifer in water. The plant is gathered and extracted mainly in Spain but is found growing wild in South France, Morocco and other Mediterranean countries.
Common Uses: Labdanum Absolute is an amazing ingredient for aromatics such as perfumes, body lotions, scented candles, incense sticks, room fresheners and soaps and other cosmetics.

Aromatic Description: Labdanum Absolute has a sweet, dry, and deep resinous/balsamic odor with a mossy, leathery undertone.
