Comfrey is also known as "knit-bone" and has been shown to help with breaks, sprains and other muscular and bone problems as well as being useful in the treatment of scars and bruises.

It's Latin name "Symphytum" is derived from the Greek for 'to unite'. K'Eogh in his Irish Herbal (1735) wrote that "it heals all inward wounds and ruptures".
Today it is still a very popular herb, as it has been for thousands of years. Amphora's Comfrey Cream contains Allantoin, and Rosmarinic Acid.

Studies have shown that Comfrey cream is also helpful with the pain and immobility caused by painful osteoarthritis. Also good in the treatment of scars and bruises.

The use of Comfrey should be restricted to topical use only and for no more than 10 days in a row or 4-6 weeks a year.

Active Ingredients: Borage (Starflower) and Aloe vera, with extracts of Lavender Flower, Chamomile Flower, Comfrey Root and Ginseng Root.
